Matrix A and vector b are given. I found the orthogonal projection of b onto A, and then I found a least-square solution of Ax = b

For the given matrix A and the given vector b, I found the orthogonal projection of b onto Col A, and then I found a least-squares solution of Ax = b

This is exercise (11) in chapter 6.5 contained within chapter 6; (Orthogonality and Least Squares) in the textbook, "Linear Algebra and it's Applications," David C. Lay; 2003, Pearson Education.

This textbook is currently used for Math-18 (Spring 2020) at the University of California, San Diego.  Math-18 has a required prerequisite course completion with a "C" letter grade or higher--in Vector Calculus.
